As our front-line representative for the office, you’ll find me at the front desk: welcoming patients as they arrive. Meeting our young patients and seeing their smiles after a smooth dental appointment is the best part of my day. I enjoy the friendships that develop between our team and those we care for, and getting to see how happy people are when they come in for a checkup.
Outside the office, I enjoy raising my kids and watching their sporting events.
I am 1st generation graduate in the family. I graduated from California State University of Long Beach with a Bachelor in Health Science. I have worked in the dental field since 2017. I have always been very passionate about helping others and what more fascinating way to do it than work on giving them a perfect smile! I joined Dr Chu's team in 2021 and I've been fully committed to her mission since then.
Aside from work, I like traveling and keeping myself busy with adventures such as hiking, skydiving, kayaking, parasailing. I like riding motorcycle over the weekend and I practice kickboxing as my daily routine. Vacation time is always to visit family!!
I was a stay at home mom for 16 years, after that point I attended Orange Coast College in 2011. When I completed my general education, I enrolled in the Dental Assistant Program and completed my studies in 2014. I have been working in Pediatric Dentistry ever sense.
My favorite part of my job is working with the kids! Dental offices aren’t always their favorite place to visit, so being able to calm their nerves and have fun being silly with them brings me such joy. In addition, Dr. Chu is an amazing woman and boss and is so easy to work for. She is so compassionate with the kids and is always putting them at ease. My co-workers are so wonderful! They’re helpful, fun and encouraging. I see them more as my friends & team mates.
I have lived in the Huntington Beach area for 25+ years. I am blessed with 2 wonderful children and a sweet grandson. I am married to my incredible husband, Ernie and we enjoy hanging out with friends and family, and traveling around the world as often as we can. We love going to concerts, from big band names to new and upcoming young adults getting started. I also love to cook and entertain.
My education in the dental field prepared me to work in any dental office setting, so I can do anything from placing sealants on our pediatric patients to orthodontics. I love working one-on-one with patients of all ages: providing a great service and at the same time creating meaningful relationships. I am so happy to be working for Dr. Chu and the team because they have helped me broaden my experience and taught me so many new things. It’s a truly great environment.
Whenever I am not working, you might find me at the movie theater catching up on all the good movies this month. I enjoy shopping, hanging out with my sisters, watching movies with my family, getting mani/pedis, trying out new recipes, and cycling.
I have worked in the dental field since graduating from Bryman College in 2008. The thing I like most about my job is working with our youngest patients. I work hard to earn their trust and friendship, to convince them that they are safe and being allowed to follow through with their dental cleaning.
I am married with two kids: Nick, who has been playing soccer for eight years, and Priscilla, who also loves soccer. We have a pet turtle that I found on my doorstep a day after our four-year-old fish died. As a family, we are involved in church and spend most of our weekends at soccer games. I also love to cook and watch movies.
I began my dental career as a student in 2021 at Orange Coast College. After having the chance to shadow a Dental Hygienist in High school, I knew dentistry was for me. I have stayed working for Dr. Chu since my first round of clinical and have stayed since then!
My favorite part of my job is creating a special and trusting bond with my patients and their family. I love to explain how and why things are done, bringing ease to my anxious patients. I also love my team as they have taught me everything I know and were welcoming with open arms from my first day as a student.
In my free time, I love to play video games, go to the gym, and look up tasty recipes online. I have a black cat named Toby and a golden retriever named Miles. My ultimate goal is to have a successful career as a Hygienist!
I received my RDA license in 2024. Prior to that I was a certified dental assistant working with children primarily at a general office for about three years. I had gained knowledge from my first pediatric dental office . I have always loved working with children. My experience consisted of being a respite caregiver for kids with special needs. It also includes having my ce units through NROP for career with children certified as a teacher assistant. I have worked at a daycare and have volunteered at a church preschool. In 2011 I had graduated from UEI college as a pharmacy technician. I worked in that field for about a year after graduation. My heart has always steered towards working with children instead. Now I do what I love and enjoy being able to breeze the children through an easy dental experience .
I am a mother of two boys . My family and I enjoy going to the movie theaters or spending the day at Disney. My husband and I also like to go on family hikes. We have a dog named Sophia who has been part of our family since 2020 . I am now part of the Brookhurst pediatric and orthodontic dentistry family. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. I’m excited to be part of a great team.
I am a motivated and result driven professional with 28 years of experience as a registered dental assistant with extensive knowledge in a variety of pediatric orthodontia. My passion is to help everyone have a beautiful smile and give them the confidence to smile. I'm very happy to be working with Dr. Beanca and Dr. Yu since 2023. I hope to see everyone in our greatest office with the best care and fantastic service soon!
During my free time I love to cook and dance. I also play the piano as much as I can.
I graduated from Cal State Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. At one point I wanted to go into law enforcement, but I had a change of heart along the way. I have been doing administrative work in the dental field for 5 years now. In my spare time I like to spend it with my family and my two dogs, Franky and Charly. I also enjoy hanging out at Disneyland since my husband and I are pass holders. We try to go at least once a month and try the different food in the parks.
